Mahindra will be the second Indian team on the 125cc circuit this season after Bangalore-based Ten10 Racing tied up with San Marino-based WTR to launch a team in November last year.

Great Britain's Danny Webb (19) and Germany's Marcel Schrotter (18) will represent the Mahindra Racing team. However, Mahindra do not regret not having an Indian rider on board and are satisfied with pilots from abroad.
"We have been scouting for Indian talent. But, at this stage these pilots are the best. Our first aim is to get our team rolling into the MotoGP and then to earn credibility," said Ruzbeh Irani, Executive vice-president (Corporate Strategy) and Chief Brand Officer.

The young riders are equally excited to represent the Indian team in the international grid. British rider Webb told MiD DAY:u00a0"I chose Mahindra because they are a big company in India and they have proven a lot. There seems to be a real buzz about India in international sport at the moment and it would be great if we get a good Indian following," said the British rider. The team will be based at Engines Engineering facility in the city of Bologna in northern Italy.
