Former Indian Olympic breaststroke-swimmer Adi Bharucha died at Parsee General Hospital (PGH) yesterday.

The 85-year-old swimming and water polo legend was ailing for the past couple of years. He was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday after his health deteriorated.
Bharucha was a 1952 Helsinki Olympian. He had the distinction of representing Maharashtra State for nearly three decades at the Senior Nationals. He was the first recipient of the GMAAA Lifetime Achievement Award.
