Haaland eats it like Ronaldo!

Erling Haaland and Cristiano Ronaldo

Norwegian footballer Erling Haaland follows a six-meal-a-day diet and prefers to eat plates of chicken and pasta cooked without salt or oil and swordfish, sea bass and sea bream cooked with fresh veggies. Inspired by Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s diet, he maintains a diet similar to that of the Portuguese striker.

According to The Sun, Haaland, who will play for Manchester City next season, swears by water and avoids sugary snacks and frozen food. He prefers to eat fresh products only. In a 2019 interview with ESPN, Haaland’s father Alf-Inge said: “I had to be determined to make it in the game. But Erling made all the sacrifices, leaving home at 16 to move to Molde, and he is a lot more professional than I was. He was told a story by Patrice Evra about a lunch he had with Ronaldo and Cristiano had fish, nothing else. Erling now tries to do the same things because Ronaldo [was] 34 and still at the top of the game, so it shows the value of doing the right things.”
