England football great David Beckham's son, Brooklyn has officially split from YouTube singer Lexy Panterra. According to British tabloid, The Daily Mail, the couple, who have been dating for two months, called off their romance largely because they didn't get to see each other very often. "Brooklyn divides his time between New York and the UK, while Lexy lives in Los Angeles. The long distance was definitely a factor," a source said.'

Brooklyn and Lexy did attempt to overcome their long distance issues, it is learnt. The source added that the couple tried to "make the long distance work and were excited to see where it goes." The break-up news comes as a bit of a shocker considering Brooklyn was totally smitten by Lexy. "He was in love with Lexy and played some of her tracks to his mother, the former Spice Girls singer, Victoria, who was really impressed too," the source added. Brooklyn, 19, began dating Lexy, 29, after ending his three-year relationship with Chloe Moretz earlier this year.
