The former England captain, his designer wife Victoria and children Harper, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz relaxed in their punt as they enjoyed their day out.
The sight of the Beckhams however, got passers-by excited with many stopping to click pictures of the famous family and later posting them all over social media. Beckham too posted one of his pictures on his Instagram account with a caption: "Amazing day punting in Cambridge."
The Beckham group was divided into two, with David and the kids in one punt, and Victoria, her sister and parents in the second punt.
The Beckhams later met with Professor Stephen Hawking, and eldest son Brooklyn posted a picture saying it was "honour" and "an inspiring afternoon" with the award-winning British physicist.
