IPL trivia: These batsmen and bowlers set major records over the years

As we gear up for the Indian Premier League 2021 season, today we present to you some important batting and bowling records in the history of the cash-rich Twenty20 league.

The Indian Premier League tournament, ever since it's inception in 2008, has been a major source of entertainment in many households all across the country as well as the globe. Be it batting or bowling, many cricketers etched their names into the history books setting many records over the years. RCB's captain Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle are one of the finest batsmen to have ever graced the pitch in IPL. 


Meanwhile, the bowling department in IPL never ceases to impress either. From Mumbai Indians veteran Lasith Malinga to Sunrisers Hyderabad's sensation Rashid Khan, many bowlers went on to make a name for themselves in the cash-rich T20 league. Many records were set, many were broken in the past 13 years of IPL.
