The Dilip Vengsarkar-headed CIC is set to meet on Tuesday to finalise the coaches and selectors across all age groups.

Amre recently rejected an offer to coach Uttar Pradesh and is keen to focus on his personal coaching. Amre steered a relatively young Mumbai team to semi-finals of the Ranji Trophy where they lost to eventual champions Karnataka.

Amre’s predecessor Sulakshan Kulkarni’s name is also doing the rounds to coach Mumbai’s senior team. It is also learnt that the Mumbai Cricket Association is trying hard to get former India stumper Chandrakant Pandit, who is currently Director of Cricket for Kerala, as the Director of the Bandra Kurla Complex indoor academy.

Meanwhile, former Mumbai skipper Milind Rege is set to be appointed as senior selection committee chairman. Former India spinner Nilesh Kulkarni is one of the candidates to be included in the selection committee, it is learnt.
