Melbourne: Lou Vincent has revealed before a court in London that fast bowler Daryl Tuffey had threatened to kill his former team mate Chris Cairns for not receiving money that was promised to him.

Cairns, who is facing perjury charges over match-fixing allegations, had promised to pay 50,000 dollars per game to underperform in 2008 during Indian Cricket league (ICL).

On the second day of the Cairns' trial, Vincent informed that he didn't receive payment of more than 250,000 dollars, news.com.au reported.

The 36-year-old, who earlier admitted that he got 'direct orders' from Cairns to get involved in match-fixing, alleged the latter of using and abusing him.

Earlier, Vincent had also said that former Indian batsman Dinesh Mongia was a key member of the gang involved in ICL match fixing.

All-rounder Cairns, who represented New Zealand in 62 Tests and 215 ODIs, saw his reputation take a beating when the former Indian Premier League (IPL) chairman Lalit Modi accused him of match-fixing.

Meanwhile, Andrew Fitch-Holland, the lawyer who represented Cairns, is also in legal trouble for asking Vincent to provide a false witness statement in connection with a defamation action between Cairns and Modi.
