India off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin came up with a hilarious story involving former captain and chief selector Krishnamachari Srikkanth.
Talking to host Vikram Sathaye on the 'What The Duck 2' which streams on www.viu.com, Ashwin recalled how Srikkanth entered the Tamil Nadu dressing room during a domestic game at Bangalore's Chinnaswamy Stadium in 2009, sat besides him and asked what did he do on that opening day of the game.

Bad opening day
Ashwin revealed that he took one wicket on an unsuccessful day for him and the team, to which Srikkanth remarked: "For me to select you in the Indian cricket team, you need to give me five wickets every single game for me to say that your good enough to play in the Indian cricket team. It's not about knowing that you are good enough, you have to show me that you are good enough."
Out came the cigar
As Ashwin said, "yes Sir," Srikkanth, according to Ashwin, "picked up a cigar and lit it up, smoked it around, again said don't worry things will change and then he just dipped it right into the bowl of sambar I was holding and he did not even realise it."
