MI owner Nita Ambani, was present along with team mentor Sachin Tendulkar and head coach Ricky Ponting - both who played for Mumbai Indians in the past.
Ambati Rayudu led the attack with his 44 runs with Kieron Pollard and Jos Buttler giving him vital support with their 35* and 29*.
This helped team Mumbai to move into the fourth position on the table.
