A calendar showing portraits of Taliban suicide bombers and children involved in terror activities has been found during the army assault in South Waziristan, a media report said on Friday.

Security forces found the calendar showing portraits of suicide bombers from a madrassa in Spankai area during Operation Rah-e-Nijat Thursday, Geo News reported on Friday.

According to security officials suicide bombers were trained in Spankai area.

The portraits on the calendar also include the pictures of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban commanders and slain Al Qaeda leader Abu Lais al-Libby. It also has the photographs of 10-15-year old children used in terror activities.

The Pakistani Army has stepped up its offensive against the Taliban guerrillas in the mountainous South Waziristan region. The Taliban has vowed to strike back.

The country has faced a string of terror attacks, including massive bombings, which have left over 200 people dead. The worst terror strike took place in a crowded market of Peshawar October 28 when over 110 people were killed in a powerful bomb explosion.
