Take this tweet as an example: 'I think the government wants to make LPG so expensive that we stop cooking, and hence stop cribbing about vegetable prices.'

Varun Jindal added: 'More people should join Anna Hazare on his next fast. It's a nice way to save oneself from the price hike.'

In a certain Sarcasan's words, 'Now even the phrase 'adding fuel to the fire' is out of my reach.' And, finally, this from Diogeneb: 'It won't be long before IIMs become a cheaper source of gas than LPG.'

Pramod added: 'The only silver lining is some parents will be happy with a girl child seeing how Nehwal has made her mark.'
