India's most undesirable

The irony of it all is the show is called India's Most Desirable. Plonking a botoxed woman dressed in horrendous white gowns and finished with a stained grin and fake empathy opposite a young thing, does not make a desirable show

India's most undesirable

The lady, as quoted by her, came up with a completely 'original' idea for the show. Look hard at every segment ufffd It's so fresh and original and never-seen-before that you just won't be surprised when it walks away with the Pulitzer for chat shows. A show with such weighty content, intelligence in reporting and freshness in thinking has to be lauded for being so pathbreaking. As quoted by the eminent creator-talented interviewer-and-empathetic host all rolled into one (bad) vision in white "I feel over the recent years there is too much focus on gossip and sensationalism and rumours, and because of that, these days viewers actually don't know these celebrities. So I feel with a show like this, we want the audience to know that if they call these people desirable, what are these celebrities really like because there are going to be strong revelations about every guest on my show."

Grammatical errors notwithstanding in the quote, I can only agree with her. Three shows down and I feel so much closer to Dazzling Deeps, Pouty Ranbir and Slim Sid.

I know mountains more about them now that Aunty kindly extracted so much private information and hidden facets about their pedantic lives.

u00a0Some excerpts to come: "So John, what book is at your bedside right now?"- "D-uh! Ummm ufffd. An Archie Digest". "Hey Sachin! how come you sold your Ferrari?" ufffd "Oh! I was getting a couple of new cars from my new endorsements, so..."

Intrepid marketers are going hammer and tongs to create merchandise around the show that the Aunty's millions of fans are clamouring to pick up.

A la the Wills and Kate wedding, you now have India's Most Desirable tees, mugs, plates and ashtrays - all with a pic of the 'original-thinking' desirable lady in question. Sheer white gowns come with revealing details of the show - and the wearer. Fake smile kits are plastered in every street corner so you can plaster one on your face like your idol. And 'Deepika Unbared' books are now doing the rounds: with saucy details of her favourite Enid Blyton.

Sigh! Now if only Karan would do a 'Koffee with K' episode with Ms G. Just so we would be forewarned on her next original idea.
