Tension gripped in Maharashtra’s Kolhapur after some youth allegedly posted objectionable posts on social media with a reference to Aurangzeb and Tipu Sultan. Section 144 has been imposed in Kolhapur on June 08 following the reports of violence in the city. The internet services have also been suspended. A day after the incident, Kolhapur SP Mahendra Pandit held a press conference. He informed that the situation in Kolhapur city and the district became normal has become normal. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena UBT leader questioned the Hindutva that gets threatened by a social media post.
