On the 25th of May a tragic incident happened in Gujarat. A massive fire broke out at a gaming zone in Rajkot that took 27 lives including children. The family members of the deceased were seen mourning the loss of their loved ones at the TRP game zone. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief and condoled the loss of lives in the fire through a post on X. Meanwhile, Gujarat government informed an SIT to investigate the matter. SIT Head Subhash Trivedi said that a detailed probe will be conducted and responsible persons will be identified. Following the massive fire incident, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel arrived at the incident site on May 26. CM Bhupendra Patel took stock of the situation and rescue operation. Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi was seen briefing the CM about the ongoing rescue operation. Notably, the death toll in the fire tragedy at the gaming zone reached 27, and one person is still missing. Two people, including the owner and manager of the TRP game zone in Rajkot, have been taken to a police station for interrogation. According to officials, the fire broke out at around 4.30 pm. A rescue operation for the same is underway.
