One man suffers memory loss because of head injury four-wheeler hits motorbike
In a late night accident in Bhosari, two men were grievously injured in a road accident. The men, who were riding a bike at Philips Road in Landewadi, were hit by a four-wheeler. The driver of the car allegedly fled from the spot without helping the duo.
According to doctors at Pimpri's YCM hospital, the two were brought in by the police around 11.00 pm, minutes after they were found in an injured condition on the road.
While one among the duo was in a semi-conscious state and was immediately taken to the minor operation theatre for treatment, the other was bleeding from the head and nose continuously besides other minor injuries.
When asked about the accident, he couldn't recall any details and also couldn't give reasons for him being in that area or his home address.
The Police later contacted his family but doctors expressed concern over his health due to his head injuries and his temporary memory loss.
The Bhosari police later identified them as Prakash Vidhate and Somnath Jamadar though further details of the two were being collected.
"We will have to conduct a CT scan to check internal injuries if any as he is suffering from slight memory loss," said Dr Pramod Pathre, medical officer at YCM.
