Our first brush with South Indian food was the neighbourhood Madrasi joint that used to sell snacks as idli-dosa as main course.



Yummy that it was, and cheap, that was all we thought there was to South Indian cuisine till we grew up and got better informed. There are South Indian chains now in our metro cities that serve you delectable fare, but most of us still opt for the tried and tasted. Which is where the South Indian food festival at the Eros Intercontinental comes in.

Did you know for instance that there are myraid soups that comes under the great cuisine from down South? Or that the Deep Fried Fish that they make is as tasty if not more than the fish from the east? And of course there is that famous Chicken Chettinad and Nilgiri Chicken done authentically to make you burp happily after a hearty meal. Go try!
