New Delhi: Pakistan army has mobilised about 100 terrorists across the LoC to push them into India to carry out attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Pakistan army is believed to be planning attacks through terrorists on Indian defence personnel and security establishments besides select civilian targets in the wake of the surgical strikes. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is believed to have conveyed the assessment of Pakistan army readying 100 terrorists to cross over into India during a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, official sources said.
Quoting intelligence agencies, the NSA is said to have told the members of the CCS – Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj besides Modi – that about a dozen terror launch pads were activated by the Pakistan Army to push the terrorists to Jammu and Kashmir to take avenge the surgical strikes.

The Army has handed over to the government video clips of the cross-LoC surgical strikes as per laid down procedure, Union Minister Hansraj Ahir said yesterday, amid a growing chorus that evidence of the operation on terror launch pads in PoK be made public.
Sharif eulogises Burhan Wani
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif eulogised Burhan Wani at a joint session of Pakistan’s parliament. “Burhan Wani’s martyrdom got Kashmir's movement to a turning point,” he said. Reiterating that Pakistan wanted peace, he said, “We want dialogue on all issues including Kashmir. We will walk this well-thought path.”
PM cautions against creating hysteria
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is understood to have cautio-ned his Cabinet colleagues yesterday against creating hysteria over surgical strike. He said that only authorised people should speak on the issue of surgical strikes and one should avoid speaking out-of-turn, sources said.
