Opposition reacts to Tiwari video

The recent video against veteran Congress leader ND Tiwari, aired by a news channel is a big issue for the opposition parties against the ruling Congress, who say he has insulted the prestige of the house.

Ravishankar Prasad BJP spokesperson, said, "Tiwari has maligned the high level dignity and prestige of the honorable governor house. Strict action should be taken against him. We will raise the issue in the nextu00a0 parliament session and demand a high level inquiry."

Neelam Gorhe, Shiv Sena spokesperson, said, "I'm surprised and horrified by such an act from a man like Tiwari who is almost 85 years old and who holds the constitutional post. We demand a CBI enquiry and also demand the version of the victim to be recorded as the entire incident reflects that Tiwari has been blackmailing the victim."

Manish Tewari, Congress spokesperson, said, "The matter is subjudice and we have faith in the court that it will take a appropriate decision on the matter. I don't think anyone can raise any objection as Tiwari has resigned."
The telecast of the video was however stopped by Andhra Pradesh high court, which issued an injunction on the telecast.
