The IFRA bronze in the Cross Media Advertising Category at Chennai follows acclaim from juries at Miami and Manila
MiD DAY has won a bronze award at the prestigious IFRA Asia Awards at Chennai.
The paper bagged the prestigious award for the MiD DAY's Visa + Pizza Hut impact and activation in the Cross Media Advertising Category.

A total of 472 entries were received this year for the eighth edition of the Awards.
This win is especially exciting as the newspaper has also won at the Global INMA Awards held at Miami, USA, in May and at the Asia Multimedia Awards held at Manila for excellence in marketing efforts.
MiD DAY also was the only Indian publication to be awarded gold at the IFRA Cross Media Marketing Awards 2008 held at Amsterdam.u00a0
MiD DAY was awarded the prestigious IFRA Asia Award for a campaign designed for its client VISA.
For its regular client Pizza Hut, Visa had come up with an offer where diners could enjoy up to 40 per cent off on meals by paying with a VISA card.
The brief was to come up with a solution to communicate this message creatively, and engagingly. MiD DAY delivered the message with an impact cover (a page 1 and 2 jacket), combined with ground activation, where promoter boys dressed as chefs stood outside 32 Pizza Hut outlets in Mumbai, once again reminding them of the offer.
