While most of the bloggers disagree with his decision to attack V-Day celebrations, some blame media for giving undue importance to him.

What did Mutalik do? "He sent people to beat women who had gone to the pub. When beating your own kids have become a big offense in this country, he has been supported for beating the common people for enjoying their freedom, their status of staying in a democratic country," says this blogger Mohan.

The blogger wonders why "our politicians are so weak when it comes to taking actions against these kind of goons? I feel he should be put in jail with all his accomplice under POTA."

Blogger Vimohu00a0wishes to send a Happy Valentine's Day e-card to Mutalik with a hope that he would mend his ways!

"I am writing to you with fondest Valentine's wishes, in hopes that you will mend your ways and become a good man (though it doesn't seem likely; I have read your criminal record)," says the blogger.

"Mr. Mutalik's men are dragging people into medieval times, themselves behaving like cavemen," says blogger Sangeetha Kodithala.u00a0

"If you know your mythology right, it's an army of monkeys that helped Lord Sri Rama to defeat Ravana and fetch Sita. So, Sri Rama Sene = Lord Rama's army = Monkeys. Does that explain their behaviour? Do you still think we should take them seriously and put them behind the bars? Come on! What will PETA say then?" the blogger asks.

Regarding Mutalik's alibi that his men attacked girls in pub to protect Indian values, this bloggeru00a0has this to say: "The traditional values of India have been and will be carried generation after and generation and there is no doubt about it. But we have to welcome different traditions into our system. It is absolutely the right of an individual how he wants to lead his lifeu00e2u0080u00a6"

"India is pushed to a Taliban Way! In afganistan women who drinks wine/ sents St.Valentine Card are lashed in public.. And now, it can be witnessed in India too. Soon they would beat women who wear trousers/T-shirts," says a comment in another blog.

'Recession-proof'

If there is one person who has not experienced even an iota of the current recession's impact, it is "Sri Ram Sena's promoter and CEO Mr. Pramod Mutalik," says fakingnews.com.

u00a0

"Ever since his gang carried out the act of beating women in a Mangalore's pub for maligning the country's "sanskriti" (culture), Mr. Mutalik has been seeing a flurry of job offers coming his way. One state has offered him the job of Police Chief as "moral policing," it says, adding that there's "fierce competition" between MNS and Shiv Sena to woo Mutalik.
