If its variety you're looking at, then Bachus might have help at hand. Try their Wine Night where a fine glass of wine is Rs 225 on Tuesdays, Drum N Bass night on Wednesdays, Trip in the Middle dance and break beats on Thursdays, Ladies Night where women get three cocktails for free on Fridays, Vachan's Pop Agenda on Saturdays and Sports Night on Sundays. To add to the zing and that extra bit of variety to each month Blive! hosts a night every third and fourth Thursday of the month at their lounge area.
Jaunty and infectious
This time around it's the Acoustic Wars, the first event of its kind featuring Mumbai artist Sidd Cutto of Tough on Tobacco versus Chennai based Ameeth Thomas of Junkyard Groove. Cutto is known to strum out solo material. His strumming is dynamic and not one that be within the bounds of one genre. He encompasses all aspects of pop, rock, reggae, jazz, drum n bass, bossanova, Carnatic, Bollywood and Hollywood, having produced over forty songs and background scores for TV, film, radio and theatre. His new acoustic set is called Tough on Tobacco and is backed by drums and bass guitar. He is currently in the process of recording a new album.
