Domestic help at former Union Minister Anbumani Ramadoss' house found dead

A 19-year-old domestic help was found hanging at the residence of former Union Health Minister and PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss here today

Chennai: A 19-year-old domestic help was found hanging at the residence of former Union Health Minister and PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss here today.

The woman, Malini, a native of Vellore District, was found hanging from her dupatta (shawl) tied to a ceiling fan in the room she stayed in the house, police said.

When she did not report for work even after 7.30 AM, a male domestic aide went to Malini's room and found her hanging.

Police were immediately alerted and they removed the body and sent it to a government hospital for autopsy.

According to a preliminary probe, Malini had differences of opinion with a man whom she was supposed to marry.
