They also arrested the goldsmith who used to buy the stolen chains from the trio.

Arrested
The three accused were identified as Riyaz Faiyaz Irani (34), Imran Firoz Irani (24) both resident of Shrirampur in Ahmednagar, and Salim Murtuj Kanyal alias Kadar, u00a0a resident of Salgar vasti in Solapur.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rajendra Bhamre said, “Acting on a tip-off, a team of anti-chain snatching squad laid a trap and arrested the trio. They are suspected of being a part of 16 chain-snatchings in the city.” u00a0
