We went talent surfing and found a brand new brigade that will come on board next year. Sources suggest that Dharma Productions will be the biggest supporter of new talent next year, so hats off to that, and here's a first look at the game changers of 2011.

Actors
Ranveer Singh, Rana Daggubatti, Rahul Bhatt: As far as new male acting is concerned, it is the 'R' factor all the way next year. Rana is Telugu film doyen D. Rama Naidu's grandson. He made his spectacular debut in 2010 with the Teluguu00a0 political thriller Leader (you could call it the Telugu version of Rajneeti). Watch out for Rana in Rohan Sippy's Dum Maro Dum.

Rahul Bhatt, much like Sanjay Dutt, is an image of quiet strength, with a physique that is offset by a gentle face. Surprisingly, it isn't his father Mahesh Bhatt who will launch him but mentor Salman Khan who will tap young Bhatt's potential in an action film. Ranveer Singh is the only one of the lot who doesn't belong to the film fraternity. He has already made a mark at the end of 2010 in Band Baaja Baaraat, but 2011 is slated to be a big year for Singh.

Actresses

Ileana D'Cruz, Sarah-Jane Dias, Aliya Bhatt: Every year, there is a slew of actors who cross over from the South into Bollywood. Ileana D'Cruz will be seen in Anurag Basu's Barfee opposite Ranbir Kapoor next year. D'Cruz bagged the role after Asin and Katrina turned it down. Talking about role-bagging, Sarah-Jane Dias took over Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan's role opposite Abhisheku00a0 Bachchan in Abhinay Deo'su00a0 Game. Asu00a0 for Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan's daughter Aliya, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had spotted her sparkle at age 12 to play the child-bride in Balika Badhu opposite Udit Narayan's son Aditya. The project fell through. Now, Karan Johar will launch Aliya in a production.

Directors
Pankaj Kapoor, Abhinay Deo, Alankrita Shrivastava: Mausam is undoubtedly one of the most-anticipated films of 2011, considering it has veteran actor Pankaj Kapoor at the helm as director. It's Kapur's directorial debut featuring his son Shahid.

Abhinay Deo is veteran actor Ramesh Deo's son. He brings to the table the reputation of being an Aamir Khan discovery. Though Deo's debut film Delhi Belly is yet to be released, gutsy caper Game will do the trick. Alankrita Shrivastava, who is being mentored by Prakash Jha and is directing Turning 30, is another mind to watch out for.

Musicians
Atul-Ajay, Sohail Sen, Nishat Khan: Except for an occasionalu00a0 Sheila Ki Jawani, which had the distinct stamp of Sunidhi Chauhan's vocals, playback voices don't register anymore. How many listeners know who sang Munni Badnaam in Dabangg? Composers have a brighter, future in 2011. Marathi exponents Atul-Ajay, who made a huge impact with their lavni-laden score in the Marathi film Natrang, will make their Hindi debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's production My Friend Pinto.

Director Ashutosh Gowariker has taken a shine to Sohail Sen, music composer Sameer Sen's son. Though Sen's tunes in Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se went unappreciated, he has Yashraj's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan lined up next year. Nishat Khan is hawk-eyed filmmaker Sudhir Mishra's discovery, and has composed an incredibly evocative score for Yeh Saali Zindagi. Khan just might be the Amit Trivedi of 2011.
