“Baba Ramdev is frustrated. Whosoever speaks like this, is frustrated. He is a mental case,” Lalu Prasad said.
Also, Congress member Jagdambika Pal and Samajwadi Party legislator Shailendra Kumar said they will move a breach of privilege motion against the yoga guru in the Lok Sabha.
Raising the issue in the Parliament, SP leader Shailendra Kumar demanded action against those making derogatory remarks against MPs. “The dignity of parliament is being lowered at public rallies,” he said but did not submit a privilege notice, according to sources.
Congress MP Jagdambika Pal also said he had served a breach of privilege notice against Ramdev.
PC Chacko, who was in the chair, said breach of privilege notices were under consideration of the Speaker. “Please wait for a decision,” he said.
Baba back in action
Ramdev, addressing the media while launching his month-long yatra in Chhattisgarh’s Durg area on Tuesday, said, MPs “are those people who don’t care, don’t love the farmers, the labourers or the people of this country.
“They are friends and slaves of money. They are illiterate, dacoits and murderers. They are devils in the form of humans, who we have elected to those posts,” Ramdev said.
The yoga guru also said there were good people among the parliamentarians and he respected them.
