On April 1, TV actress Pratyusha was found hanging at the Goregaon residence she shared with Rahul. He was booked under IPC Sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 504 (intentional insult), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt).
Singh alleged that he was framed in the case and that Pratyusha’s parents did not have a complaint against him initially. He added that she had not left a suicide note behind to prove his role.
