Mumbai crime: 22-year-old man shot dead in Ulhasnagar over old disput

A 22-year-old man was shot dead by four men over an old argument in Ulhasnagar on Monday night. According to a report in The Times Of India, the Vitthalwadi police have charged the four people for murder and under sections of the arms act.


The incident happened with the victim, identified as Bharat Lashkar, a resident of sector 4 in Ulhasnagar was on his way home with his friend Anand Sonawane, when they were confronted by the four accused- Abhijit Bodke alias Colour, Krishna Kumbhar, Salim and Uday Bhatkar; over an old dispute. Salim, who was armed with a revolver, shot Lashkar on his head while the three accused physically assaulted him after which they fled the spot.


Lashkar was then taken to a hospital with the help of a friend and others where he succumbed to his injuries. The four attackers are on the run and the investigation is underway.
