Jet Airways's Bhuj-Mumbai flight 9W2536, which had 65 passengers on board received a bomb threat intimation prior to landing in the city on Friday morning.

Emergency services were immediately activated at Mumbai airport following the alert, which came from Bhuj airport director at around 10.30 am, airport officials said.
Once the flight landed at Mumbai airport at 10:37am, the passengers were safely deplaned and the plane transported to the isolation bay for inspection by the bomb disposal unit. Three fire engines were reportedly present on the spot for the inspection.
No explosive was found and security officials declared the call a hoax.
Jet Airways spokesperson said, "Jet Airways flight 9W 2536 of March 14, 2014 from Bhuj to Mumbai received a specific bomb threat prior to landing at Mumbai. The ATR flight with 60 passengers on board had an uneventful landing in Mumbai. All passengers deplaned safely and were transported to the terminal building, while the aircraft along with the baggage was taken for security inspection as per laid down procedures. Refreshments were served to the guests in the coaches."
