After making repeated complaints for the last 10 years about the quality of food served at the dilapidated at the Bandra Family Court canteen, lawyers finally have reason to rejoice.
The court got its first AC cafeteria on December 22.
Family Court Bar Association President Neelofar Akhtar said, "We were not satisfied with the food earlier. So, we decided to change the caterer, who had been with the canteen for 12 years.
We also got it shifted to the ground floor from the first floor and ensured air-conditioners were installed.
Even the area has been doubled to ensure members are more comfortable. More comfortable chairs and tables have been introduced in place of the hard old benches.

The menu has Udipi fare, which is about the same price as it is everywhere," said Akhtar.
