New Delhi: A businessman was allegedly robbed off jewellery and cash worth around Rs 35 lakh in central Delhi's GB Road area today.

The incident occurred in the morning when two unidentified persons waylaid the businessman and sprayed pepper spray on his face.
They allegedly snatched his bag, which contained the cash and jewellery, and fled from the spot on a motorbike, said a senior police official.
The victim, identified as Laxman, is a Gujarat-based businessman, who had arrived in Delhi this morning.
He has an office at Chandni Chowk market and had gone to GB Road to meet a business associate.
The police have obtained CCTV grabs from the location and they are questioning Laxman's associates to ascertain the identity of the robbers, the official added.
