Now Facebook will also put ads in videos?

The most annoying part of watching a video on Twitter or any other social media platform is the repeated advertisements popping up in between. You will be disappointed to know that the father of all social networking sites, Facebook, also seems to try and test 'mid-roll' video advertising, a means by which advertisements are played in between videos.

A report by BBC stated that Facebook is planning to integrate ads in between videos. This move by Facebook is quite a surprising one. A report stated that the social networking site aggressively started showing videos to its users a couple of years ago. It is found that by 2016 users have spent around 100 million hours a day watching videos. The latest plan to incorporate ads suggest that Fcebook is more inclined on finding out how much time people spend on watching videos rather than how many videos they watch in total.

Professional publishers will make Facebook videos and the social networking giants will be selling the ads and sharing the revenue with those publishers. As of now, Facebook decided to give 55 percent of total sales, a share similar to that offered by YouTube.
