The festival, spanning three days, will screen five films that have been chosen for their combination of entertainment and learning. "We wanted to offer something different that would also be fun for kids. So, we decided to hold free movie screenings," says Nimish Kenia, director, Happy Planet. "There will also be several play options for kids, as well as specialised hampers," he adds.
The films that will be screened at the festival include Karamati Coat, which is about a young boy finding a magical coat, Yeh Hai Chakkad Bakkad Bumbe Bo, about the adventures of four mischievous children as well as a dog and monkey and Lilkee, about how the 11-year-old Lilkee's life changes when she moves from the village to the city.
