For those who have been waiting for the LG’s upcoming smartphone, G4, the wait is over. The Korean company, on April 16, announced that it is offering a few units of G4 to its Indian fans for a 30-day trial before the actual launch of the device.

LG Electronics India will select a handful of Indian consumers who will ‘test drive’ the new LG G4 smartphone weeks before its official launch. Participants will be selected on the basis of their entry responses.

To those who want to participate, sign up for the campaign on Facebook or Twitter account and state your expectations from the new LG G4. The last day for submission is May 5 and the winners will be declared on May 8 via lucky draw.

The selected participants will be given an LG G4 for up to 30 days to experience its unique design and features, including its personalised user interface, camera and display.

Based on the information leaked on Twitter by Evan Blass (@evleaks), and as published on Androidpit.com, the device is likely to have a 16 MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and 5.1MP front camera. The G4 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch QHD IPS screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and is likely to run on Android Lollipop 5.1 with LG Optimus UI built on top of it.

The device features 3GB RAM, .a replaceable 3,000mAH battery and relies on Snapdragon 808 SoC with hexa-core 1.8 GHz processor, it said. As for styling, Androidpit.com reported that the G4 is expected to have a replaceable leather back panel whereas the front gets a carbon-fibre like weave effect.

Though, the India launch dates have not been announced as yet, the LG G4 is set for UK release on April 28.
