“It was hacked on February 26. My friends had been telling me that unusual posts were being uploaded on my account. I submitted a complaint at the Oshiwara police station on Wednesday after I could not access my Facebook account. It seems like the hacker has deleted it. My accounts were verified and had over two lakh followers.
[We were doing well] during the lockdown, and my videos on contemporary issues were being viewed by millions,” Nigam told mid-day, adding that while his Instagram account was also hacked, he managed to access it later.
An officer attached to the station said, “It is a cyber-related matter. No FIR has been registered yet. We are working on it.”
