Qurbaan Hua, has been consistently entertaining its audience with interesting twists and turns in the lives of Neel (Rajveer Singh) and Chahat (Pratibha Ranta). The viewers are currently having a great time watching Neel and Chahat's budding romance, but with the love triangle between Meera (Tanya Sharma) Neel and Chahat, viewers are in for major twists in the show.

As we celebrate Lohri today, Haryana boy Rajveer Singh shared some beautiful childhood memories pertaining to the celebration of the festival. Going down memory lane, the actor expressed how he used to celebrate Lohri and every year get excited about the bonfire, Revdi, enjoying bhangra and get together with friends and family.

Recalling about his childhood time Lohri celebration, Rajveer Singh said, "I am a Haryanvi boy, I belong to a farmer's family. My entire family has been into farming and my father was first an army officer and then he retired after joining the police force. I have spent most of my time in the village, so I know that the month of January is when we celebrate Lohri and Makarsankranti. In the North it's called Lohri, Assamese call it Bihu, and is also known as Pongal in South India. it’s the same festival that celebrates harvesting the crops and my most favorite childhood memory about this festival is the ‘Bonfire’. It’s very cold in January in North India, the temperature drops down to 2 to 3 degrees Celsius, so around 7 pm at night, all the kids of the area used to go to everyone's house and collect wood sticks, wheat, bajra, sugar, jaggery, etc. I remember, we all used to also sing the famous song 'Sundri Mundri Hoye'."

He further added, “On the day of Lohri, we used to be very excited to wake up in the morning, take a shower because the first one to take shower used to get revdi, malai ki roti and sarso da saad. So, early morning my mother used to feed us and say ‘jo sabse pehle khana khayega uski hi wish puri hogi', and later in the night we used to enjoy the bonfire (Lohri celebration) which is a very important event for us. We used to eat dishes made of jaggeries like revdi or some sweet and do the bhangra around the bonfire. Everyone celebrates in their own way, some call it chajja dance and some call it Hiran dance. I’m feeling very nostalgic, it used to be really fun, we were a bunch of 10-12 kids, excitedly waiting for this event to play together. Wishing all those celebrating the festival, a very Happy Lohri. However, areas in Delhi NCR or around have farmer protests currently because of MSP and other demands, I'm sure it won’t be like before, but I wish and hope that the farmers also stay safe and celebrate this festival."

Well, this story indeed makes us want to celebrate Lohri like kids! In the upcoming episode, Viewers will get to witness how Rajveer is getting married to Meera just to get Chahat back, but will Chahat be able to save herself Gazala and stop this marriage?
