Last week, Dalljiet shared pictures of her paintings on Instagram and penned a long note alongside, which read, "I wish I had a lot to offer and be of slightest of help. I don’t know what’s right at this time. With so many people needing help and fighting for their lives ... the only thing I could think of was to put these paintings up on auction and raise some funds for those who need immediate help. These paintings are made with too much love and have sit in my home for the longest time!! Guess it's time for them to go.... I would love to sell them for the best price and donate the funds generated out of these. Thank you @thesameermatai for coming up with this idea."

Rashami Desai was quick to reply. She commented, "Honestly I salute you for doing this. I know how much you love this painting and the effort you put. PS: I just want to inform people effort does not mean money, time and hard work; here! the effort means her emotion that she has invested. Please support her in this, if possible 🙏🏼"
