Content creator Elvish Yadav made history on 'Bigg Boss' after becoming the first wildcard contestant to win the OTT version of the show. The YouTuber is once again making headlines, this time for criticizing an electronic brand for misusing his name.

An Instagram handle, 'sensible_insensible,' shared a video in which a man asked his group of friends to play Elvish Yadav's song on the boAt speaker. However, instead of playing the song, a friend threw the speaker, but it still worked fine. At the end of the video, the group praised BoAt for the quality of their product, and in response, BoAt commented by adding raising hands emojis.

This video didn’t sit well with Elvish who later took to his X and asked for an apology from the brand and called out their action as ‘disgraceful’. In his tweet, Elvish wrote, "The @RockWithboAt company has reached a new low by using personal mockery to promote its brand. It's disgraceful that they believe this approach is acceptable. An apology is expected, or I will personally urge #ElvishArmy not to buy your products @amangupta0303. If you can't sell your goods on your own merit, don't resort to slinging mud at others. #ShameOnAmanGupta."

After Elvish posted the tweet, boAT issued a clarification and said, "Dear @ElvishYadav, The video in question posted by sensibly_insensible was not commissioned by boAt or any member of our company. We respect all artists and the art they create. We would never indulge, in humour or otherwise, to put any creator down."

"The response to the said comment by the brand was on a positive comment regarding the brand and automatically got picked by our algorithm. It had no intention to harm or mock any artist of your credibility and stature," tweeted boAT.

After receiving clarification from the boAt team, Elvish posted another tweet stating that he is aware the video was indeed commissioned by Aman Gupta's brand. "I appreciate the clarification, even though I am aware the video was commissioned by the company. It takes courage to admit mistakes, and I respect that. Let's move forward promoting positivity and respect among creators," he wrote.
