Actress Mannara Chopra is one of the top 5 finalists of the ongoing Bigg Boss 17. After Vicky Jain's eviction on Tuesday, the top 5 were announced. Apart from Mannara, Munawar, Ankita Lokhande, Abhishek Kumar and Arun Mahashetty have made it to the final round of the reality show. One of these five contestants will be crowned the winner on January 28 at the grand finale episode. Ahead of the finale, audiences have been showing support to their favourite contestants.

Mannara Chopra who hails from Priyanka Chopra's family has found support in her cousin. On Wednesday, Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram story to give a shoutout to her sister. She shared a picture of Mannara from inside the Bigg Boss 17 house and wrote, "Give it you best and forget about the rest".

'Carpe diem @memannara,' she added with a heart emoji.

earlier Priyanka Chopra's mother and Mannara's maami Dr Madhu Chopra also extended her support with an encouraging video message.  In a video message, Priyanka’s mom said, “Hi Mannara. Congratulations. You have reached one of the finales. I am very proud of you. Stay strong. Keep a strong head on your shoulders and don’t let them break you. You are one Chopra girl and you are really strong. Best of luck.”

A few days back, Mannara's PR team on Instagram, shared footage from the day after the "torture" task. In the clip, Ankita, Ayesha, Isha and Vicky are seen fighting with Mannara, who was attacked physically and verbally on the show. Ankita, Isha, and Ayesha were labelled "uncivilised" by Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra in response to the incident footage that became popular on social media. She commented on the video, "Oh My God! They are behaving uncivilised."

Mannara is the cousin of Parineeti and Priyanka Chopra. She has featured in several films in the Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada languages.

Earlier, former Bigg Boss contestant Pooja Bhatt had also come out in support of Mannara.  During the torture task, Vicky passed certain remarks, claiming that Mannara was sitting on Munawar’s lap. He made claims of her “feeling good” sitting on his lap and tagged her “cheap”. Pooja slammed Vicky for making such a comment.

She wrote on X, “Very, very Improper, the way you are sitting. Says a male contestant attempting to shame #MannaraChopra who is merely attempting to protect a friend. When all else fails, shame the woman and then go on to self righteously call yourself a ‘Gentleman’. Not cool. #Biggboss17.”

After the fight at night, Munawar managed to find the buckets. When he tried to get them in the morning, Vicky pulled him after which another physical fight of sorts broke out in the house.
