Bigg Boss 17 Day 23 was all about nominations and heated arguments. The episode kickstarted with the wake-up alarm ringing for Sana Raees Khan. Arun Mashetty and Sunny Arya were in their bedroom when the alarm went on for her. Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Kumar and a few more housemates rushed to look into the matter.

While the beginning of the episode was calm, matters went out of hand when multiple fights ensued over time. Team Dimaag had to save their food from being stolen. Amid that, Mannara Chopra noticed that a few rotis were missing from the basket. Munawar charged towards the Dum room and had an altercation with Arun. The comedian apparently used the word 'Kutte Ka Pilla'. The term was filtered out for public viewership. However, it started a massive fight between Munawar and Arun.

On the other side, Ankita Lokhande, Aishwarya Sharma, Neil Bhatt and Isha Malviya were trying to hide stolen grocery items. While being in a hurry to put things into a bag and container, Neil and Aishwarya had a major argument. They yelled at each other and refused to listen. However, moments later, they were with each other and Aishwarya was seen sitting on his lap and also got emotional.

The episode took a turn due to the controversial nominations. Bigg Boss called the contestants of the Dil house first for the process. The members had to nominate within the group and state a reason. During the process, Neil and Ankita locked horns over nominations. Vicky and Aishwarya had their share of arguments over the same matter.

As the Dil team continued fighting over nominations, another argument took place in the garden area between Arun, Sunny and Anurag. The matter got physical when Sunny pushed Anurag during the argument. The fight continued even in the task area.

The drama continued further as Ankita expressed her disappointment with Neil nominating her. Neil tried to start a conversation with Ankita but it kept getting uglier. The argument got louder when he lost his cool over her. Aishwarya and Vicky entered the picture to defend their spouses. Aishwarya went out of control with rage and called Ankita 'chudail'.

Speaking of the nominations, Neil-Aishwarya picked Vicky-Ankita, Abhishek named Aishwarya and Ankita, Isha chose Neil and Ankita whereas Ankita-Vicky nominated Neil-Aishwarya. Neil, Aishwarya and Ankita are nominated from the Dil house.

Arun and Tehelka picked Anurag and Samarth, while Anurag and Samarth nominated Tehelka and Arun. Except for Sana, every member from the Dum house is nominated.

From the Dimaag house, Rinku named Khanzaadi, Navid Sole and Mannara, Jigna Vora picked Mannara and Navid. Munawar named Navid and Khanzaadi, whereas Navid nominated Munawar and Rinku. Mannara picked Rinku and Khanzaadi who named Mannara and Munawar. The nominated contestants from the Dimaag house are Navid and Mannara.

During the episode, Samarth put Isha in the spotlight and asked her to chose between him and Abhishek. She refused.
