Television actor Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon who played the lead pair in the show 'Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka' are reportedly dating and plan to take their relationship to the next level.

'Barsatein-Mausam Pyaar Ka' went off-air in February this year. It was a romantic drama that explored the clash of two headstrong individuals – Reyansh Lamba (played by Kushal) and Aradhna Sahni (played by Shivangi Joshi). Set in the milieu of a newsroom, this intriguing narrative saw the passionate duo lock horns as they found themselves entwined in a complex web of emotions.

As per News18, Shivangi and Kushal fell in love on the sets of 'Barsatein’ and have been inseparable. The two are serious about each other and plan to make things official.

“Shivangi and Kushal developed a liking for one another when they used to shoot for Barsatein. They are now dating and are serious with each other. They are also planning to get engaged soon,” said the source.

Both Shivangi and Kushal have maintained a low profile about their relationship but will announce at the right time.

“Both of them are very private people and therefore, want to keep their relationship away from the public eye. They might announce their relationship when they feel the time is right,” added the source.

On working with Kushal, Shivangi called it a great experience and said they have a lot of similarities.

Back in 2023, she told IANS, “Fun fact, we both are not fond of chai and we have not even tasted it. Off-screen, he cracks a lot of jokes and on screen, he is a very serious actor,” she said.

“I know that many people in the industry were saying that they didn't expect Kushal and me to be paired together, but after the first promo, everyone gave great feedback. The pairing, the show, and its premise are all very new and fresh,” said Shivangi.

Kushal previously dated Gauahar Khan. The two got close in the controversial reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss 7’ and fell in love. However, the two failed to make their relationship last outside the house. Gauahar is now married to Zaid Darbar and has a son named Zehaan.
