The 18-year-old actor, who won dancing reality TV show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded" last year, also delved on the dearth of good roles owing to his age.
"Right now, I am focusing on my studies and on the work front, talks are on. The catch is that I am at an age when I cannot act as a child nor can I act as a mature person. Often at this point, offers are less and the requirement for the roles are more. So I am waiting for the right opportunity," Faisal told IANS over phone from Mumbai.
Faisal asserts that he is eager to work -- be it on the fiction space of the small screen or reality TV genre.
The actor was last seen doing daredevil stunts in reality TV show "Khatron Ke Khiladi - Kabhi Peeda Kabhi Keeda". But he got eliminated last week from the Colors show.
His elimination didn't just come as a surprise, but was also a disappointment for Faisal.
The actor, who earlier clinched the trophy of "Dance India Dance Li'l Masters 2" in 2013, said: "I was disappointed because I have emerged as a winner of all the reality shows and this was my first elimination."
Faisal was amongst the few contestants of "Khatron..." this season to have performed the maximum number of stunts. The actor says he doesn't believe in giving up, and this belief got reinforced with the show.
He is happy that he will be associated with the show, which has made a name due to its adventurous and dangerous factor.
“The experience was very nice. I will always be known as a young player who took part in the show and tried different stunts,” he said.
