The storyline of popular TV show, Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain, is set to undergo changes. Saumya Tandon, who plays Anita Vibhuti Narayan Mishra on the sitcom, will now be seen in the avatar of Catwoman. She will play a local vigilante, appointed by the cops to handle men who try to get fresh with women.
In a bid to get justice for women, Tandon will sport the Catwoman costume and fight louts, including her on-screen husband, Vibhuti Narayan Mishra aka Aashif Sheikh.
A Comic-Con fan, Tandon says she always wanted to play the female superhero character on screen. "I've been fascinated by Catwoman. Three talented actresses — Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry and Anne Hathaway — have played the role in unique ways. I have grown up watching their movies. I would often cajole my friends into throwing a Comic-Con theme party, so that I got the chance to dress up. I am glad I'm finally getting to play a character like this. I've designed the costume myself," says Tandon.
