‘Asuran’ actor Nitish Veera passes away due to Covid-19 complications, Dhanush pays condolences

Dhanush shared a picture of Nitish Veera on his social media account and stated how disheartening the news of his demise was.

Actor Nitish Veera, who was associated with Tamil Cinema for more than two decades, passed away today on May 17 due to Covid-19 complications. He was 45. Colleagues from the fraternity paid condolences on their social media accounts.

His co-star from Asuran and South star Dhanush shared a picture of Veera on his Twitter account and wrote- “This is disheartening. Rest in peace my brother.” Have a look at his post right here:

Tamil actor Kathir also shared a picture of the late actor and penned a note that read- “Shocking & much Saddened to hear that our co- actor who i just worked recently is no more.. Such a nice performer in so many amazing films.. We will miss u #NitishVeera. Rest in peace.. More strength to the whole family.. Please everyone be very careful.”

A fan club of Thalapathy Vijay paid condolences to Veera and spoke about how the Kollywood film industry lost another artist. Here is the post:

Nitish Veera began his career in 2000 with the film Vallarasu and was then seen in Kaala, Airaa, Neeya 2, and Asuran.
