At approximately 8.30 a.m., he collapsed at the dubbing studio in Chennai, where he was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. However, despite all efforts, he was declared dead upon arrival, leaving the entire industry in disbelief.

As the news of his untimely demise spreads, condolences and tributes pour in from fans, colleagues, and friends in the entertainment industry. Marimuthu leaves behind his wife and two children. Later today, his body will be transported to his hometown, Theni, where his final rites will be conducted.
