On August 25, a K-concert was held at New Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium to honour the enduring 50-year diplomatic relations between India and South Korea. The event highlighted the coming together of two distinct cultures steeped in similar values and visions - and was a collaboration between the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the Korean Cultural Center in India, and KOFICE, under the stewardship of Director Jung Kil-hwa. Yu Byung Chae, Korea’s Deputy Minister for Culture and Arts Policy at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with Korean ambassador Chang Jae-bok attended the event.

The musical evening spotlighted the acclaimed K-pop group MustB and Indian artist Neeti Mohan, who mesmerized attendees with their talents. Members of MustB—Taegeon, Wooyeon, Doha, Soohyun, and Sihoo revealed in an exclusive conversation with India Today that they had watched the Aamir Khan-starrer '3 Idiots', which they endearingly referred to as "a film with three guys in a college". They also said that the film is shown to students in their school as a part of education. They further revealed that they would love to collaborate with Neeti Mohan as well as Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj, the singers of the Oscar winning song 'Naatu Naatu' from Ram Charan and Jr. NTR-starrer 'RRR.' It's true when they say music and film transcend all borders and perceived 'barriers' of geography, culture and language!
MustB performed two of their songs - 'Rush' and 2020's 'Realize' at the New Delhi event. The group impressed everyone with their performance of the hit 2021 BTS summer single 'Permission To Dance'. Additionally, they paid tribute to the film 'RRR' by performing the iconic hook step from its Oscar-winning song 'Naatu Naatu'.
The band had travelled from Korea to be a part of the event. “We had come to India four years ago as well and we sang one of our unreleased songs here. We are so happy to be here, we love you, India,” the members said on stage.
There's another reason the concert was taking Indian netizens by storm. Another moment that left everyone in awe was Neeti Mohan's rendition of Stay With Me from the K-Drama 'Goblin'. Her flawless performance, resonating with the soulful sentiment of the song, spread like wildfire on the internet, gaining viral status. Enthusiastic K-pop fans couldn't contain their excitement, posting, "Neeti Mohan’s surprise performance of Goblin OST 'Stay With Me' left everyone shocked and awestruck when she covered the song perfectly in her beautiful voice."
