Cairo: Hollywood star Morgan Freeman is currently in Egypt's capital and said he is happy to visit a number of historical and tourist sites during his stay here.

The 78-year-old "Bruce Almighty" star arrived in Cairo on Sunday to film the new National Geographic documentary titled "The Story of God", the state news agency reported.
Photos of the actor filming along the Nile River in downtown Cairo and Islamic Cairo went viral on social media.
Minister of Tourism Hesham Zazou said his meeting with Freeman is scheduled for Friday.
The minister will accompany Freeman to Pyramids and the Sphinx. Zazou said Freeman will visit Sakara Pyramid and will have a Nile cruise as well.
"The Story of God" is a documentary that follows Freeman as he immerses himself in different religions and traditions from across the world.
According to Egypt's Ministry of Tourism, the visit involves coordination with the Egyptian government and will allow promotion of cultural tourism.
