Gurinder Chadha has begun shooting in Jodhpur for her next, 'Viceroy House'. The cast is led by Hugh Bonneville ('Downton Abbey', 'Paddington') as Lord Mountbatten with Gillian Anderson ('The X Files', 'House of Mirth') as Lady Mountbatten.

The film also stars Huma Qureshi. Viceroy's House was the home of the British rulers of India. For six months in 1947, Mountbatten assumed the post of the last Viceroy to hand back the country to its people.
