Bollywood actors Aamir Khan and Raveena Tandon were one of the many esteemed citizens of the country who attended the inaugural ceremony of the 'Mann Ki Baat@100', a National Conclave oragnised by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Wednesday in New Delhi.
Organised by Prasar Bharti, the event was held at the Vigyan Bhawan in the national capital. The 'Andaz Apna Apna' co-stars, Aamir Khan and Raveena Tandon were seen sitting next to each other at the inaugural session.
The inaugural session of the Conclave was graced by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar in the presence of Union Minister Anurag Thakur. In the photo, Aamir can be seen shaking hands with the Honourable Vice President.
The 'Laal Singh Chaddha' actor lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his innovative approach to communicating with the people of the country. "'Mann Ki Baat' has had a huge impact on the people of India. This is a very historic thing that the Prime Minister has done," Aamir said. Aamir greeted all the dignitaries with a warm handshake and wide smile.
While Aamir Khan was seen wearing a simple navy blue kurta, Raveena Tandon who was recently honoured with a Padmashri Award opted for an off-white cotton saree and a blue blouse with floral embroidery. The 'Mohra' looked stunning as she rounded-off her look with oxidised jewellery.
