Legendary actress Nargis passed away on May 3, 1981, just few days before the release of her son Sanjay Dutt's Bollywood debut 'Rocky'. The actor, on the actress's 41st death anniversary, penned a note that will melt your heart.

The actor wrote- "Not a single moment goes by when I don’t remember you. Ma, you were the basis of my life and the strength of my soul. I wish my wife and kids would have met you for you to give them all your love and blessings. I miss you today and every day!"

Sanjay Dutt was last seen in 'KGF: Chapter 2' that is quickly marching to become the 2nd most successful Hindi film of all time after 'Baahubali- The Conclusion (Rs. 511 crore). Coincidentally, both the films were dubbed in Hindi for the Northern belt.

Recently the actor took to his social media and shared a thankful note with his fans in which he showed gratitude towards the director Prashant Neel and his team for making it a special film in his life. He added an emoji in the caption- "There will always be some films which will be more special than the others. Every once in a while, I seek out a film which pushes me out of my comfort zone. KGF: Chapter 2 was that film for me. It reminded me of my own potential and something about it felt like, I could have fun with it. The film made me realise why cinema, at the end of the day, is a product of passion."

He added, "Prashanth Neel, my director, had sold the vision of the menacing 'Adheera' to me. The credit for how my role turned out, goes entirely to Prashanth. As the captain of the ship, it's his dream we all brought to screen."
